Dreams FC skipper Abdul Jalilu has expressed his disappointment following his side 3-1 defeat against Asante Kotoko on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League opener.
The Still Believe lads took a first half lead at the Accra Sports Stadium through youngster and debutant Issahaku Fatawu.
But a late fight from Asante Kotoko saw them score three goals in seven minutes to grab the maximum points.
The defender after the game couldn’t hide his disappointment but also charged his teammates to bounce back in the subsequent games.
“It’s a hard one to take, we worked so hard in the game only to lose in the last 5 minutes, that’s painful. We know the fans are not happy. But I can promise them that we are #BELIEVERS and we always bounce back twice better!!”
Dreams will face Elmina Sharks in matchday two of the Ghana Premier League.
