Eleven Wonders will host Ashantigold in a matchday one of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday at the Ohene Ameyew Park in Techiman.

Wonders will be looking to start on a good note after struggling in the 2020/2021 season.

Wonders have sold their top marksman Samuel Boakye to Dreams FC.

Wonders have been able to sign the likes of Abass Mohammed, Micheal Yeboah, Isaac Kwain and Razak Dauda to boost the squad ahead of the campaign.

They will be hoping to use their home advantage to triumph over Ashantigold on Sunday.

Ashantigold on the other hand despite been under investigation for a match fixing scandal will be looking to have a good start on Sunday.

The Miners have brought Ernest Thompson as their new head coach after changing five coaches in the 2020/2021 season.

They have been able to sign the likes of Kennedy Ashia, Kamaridini Mahamudu, Elijah Addai to boost the squad after a troubling 2020/2021 season.

Ashantigold were able to keep their star man Seth Osei despite receiving offers from many clubs.

With the likes of Eric Osei Agyemang, Yaw Annor, Samed Ibrahim, Isaac Opoku Agyemang, Amos Nkrumah still in the team , the Miners have decent squad to compete for the ultimate this time around.
