Broadcast rights holders of the Ghana Premier League have promised improved coverage for the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
Startimes, who are one of the leading pay-tv services providers in Africa, produced a splendid coverage of the 2020/2021 GPL season and have promised to raise the bar higher for the new season.
The improvement in coverage is expected to provide patrons of the Ghana Premier League with the ultimate story-telling experience through the use of modern sports broadcast solutions.
Speaking at the launch of the 2021/2022 Ghana Football season, Madam Akorfa Banson, Marketing Manager of Startimes Ghana, highlighted some of the new innovations Ghanaians can expect from her outfit when the season begins.
“For the 2021/22 season, Startimes will deliver a much bigger television production and broadcast. With our modern Sports Broadcast solutions, we will provide viewers with live player tracking and standing augmented reality graphics that will provide viewers with an ultimate viewing experience” – Akofa Banson told the media.
She also disclosed Startimes will invest $1 million into the production and broadcast of Ghana Premier League games.
Startimes will also telecast live 150 matches of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season with an average of four/five matches being telecasted live weekly.
The 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season commences on Friday October 29, 2021 and the games will be live on Startimes Adepa, Channel 278.
