President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Dr. Patrice Motsepe on Thursday, October 21 engaged the Ghanaian Sports media in a press conference. The initiative allowed the media to ask the continent’s football leader various African football related issues.
During the session, the CAF Boss answered questions in relation to the creation of the African Super League, the new qualification format for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. Dr. Motsepe also shared his view on how Africa stands to benefit if the FIFA World Cup was held every two years as currently proposed by the world football governing body.
The CAF President was in the company of Ghana FA boss Kurt E.S. OKraku.
Dr. Patrick Motsepe is currently on a two-day working visit to Ghana. He earlier joined scores of football administrators, the corporate community of Ghana, Businessmen/Women and the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for breakfast at the Kempinski hotel in Accra. This forms part of his two-day working visit to Ghana.
