Asante Kotoko Communications Director David Obeng Nyarko has stated emphatically the team is ready to challenge for laurels in the upcoming 2021/22 Ghana Football Season.

The Porcupine Warriors have pitched based in Dubai as part of their preparations for the upcoming premier league season.

Results from the Porcupine Warriors’ pre-season friendlies haven’t been entirely impressive as they lost to Al Hilal United and drew with Liwa FC with both teams being lower-tier sides in the UAE.

With barely a week to go for the commencement of the 2021/22 Football season, Communications Director for the Reds has stated the team is ready to compete for the title.

“We are ready for the upcoming season, this is Asante Kotoko and we are fully prepared for any tournament so I can say for a fact that we are ready,” – Obeng Nyarko told OTEC FM

“We are hoping that our fans will also be ready and add their numbers and quota to us so we can get a perfect team to compete” – He further added.

Asante Kotoko will begin their 2021-22 Ghana Premier League campaign with a trip to Dawu against Dreams FC.
