Cheetah FC President Abdul Haye Yartey has pledged to support Ghanaian champions Accra Hearts of Oak with ten sets of football shoes as they trek to play WAC of Morocco in the CAF Champions League.
The Phobians will take on the Moroccan champions on Sunday in the second leg of their CAF Champions League encounter in Casablanca.
Reports emerging from Casablanca indicate that the playing field of the Moroccan giants is very soft and a little rains will make playing difficult for the Phobians.
Haven’t suffered a similar fate against Esperance in Tunisia in 2015, the Phobians are leaving no stone unturned as they consolidate their preparations for the encounter.
Following reports of the slippery nature of the pitch in Morocco, Abdul Hate Yartey – president of Division Two side Cheetah FC pledged of donating ten set of hard boots with studs for the Phobians.
“I’ll donate ten sets of boots with studs to Hearts of Oak as they prepare for the WAC game,” he told footballmadeinghana.com
Hearts are likely to depart Ghana on Wednesday to Morocco to prepare for the clash which will be played over the weekend.
