Ghana Women’s Premier League champions Hasaacas Ladies FC have announced the signing of Burkinabé International Fatoumata Tamboura in the ongoing transfer window.
The exciting forward has penned a two-year deal with the club following a successful negotiations.
A statement on her signing on the club’s website read,
“Forward Fatoumata Tamboura previously played with US Des Forces Armees and was part of the team that competed in the West Africa Football Union Zone B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers.
She will be with Hasaacas Ladies FC until October 2023 after penning a 2 year deal.
“She’s a great addition to our set-up. We saw her at the WAFU Zone B tournament and she was a standout in her team.
“We are glad to have signed her. There’s a huge competition for her to get into the first team so let’s see how it pans out” – said Head Coach Yussif Basigi.
Fatoumata, 21, scored 2 of the 3 goals scored by USFA in the WAFU Zone B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers to win group A only to be beaten 2-0 by eventual winners Hasaacas Ladies in the semifinals stage.
She’s part of the Burkinabé National Women’s team and will take part in the upcoming AWCON 2022 Qualifiers.
