Hearts of Oak Communication Director Kwame Opare Addo has assured fans that the team will beat Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club in their first leg of the second round CAF Champions League Qualification tie.
The Phobians will host the 2017 CAF Champions League Champions at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
Hearts of Oak are looking to build on their form in this year’s competition after eliminating Guinean side CI Kamsar in the preliminary round.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s tie, Opare Addo, disclosed the club has been preparing for this game since their victory over CI Kamsar last month and will emerge victorious against WAC.
“After Kamsar win we were back to business to make sure we have to keep focus and our mental strength in the highest level so that when we face WAC we will be able to put smiles on the faces of every Phobian.”, he told Happy FM in an interview.
“We have been working on that and by Sunday the technical team will have corrected any mistake so we will be able to perform well”, he added.
