Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side, Accra Lions FC have announced the signing of forward Frederick Akatuk ahead of the 2021/22 season.

The goal poacher has penned a deal with the club following a successful negotiations.

He joins the side front Division One League side Tudu Mighty jet.

Akatuk is expected to establish a deadly and explosive duo with his competitor Abdul Rauf Salifu who netted 39 goals combined last season and are hoping to offer more of that in the coming weeks.

Speaking after the sensational move, German Sporting Director Rainer Kraft eugolises Akatuk’s capture and stated this;

“Frederick is a skillful attacker who knows how to put himself and teammates in striking positions.”

The enterprising striker was outstanding in the just-finished campaign having finished as the second topscorer in zone 3 notching 18 goals in 26 matches in the national first division.

Frederick Akatuk has been handed a the iconic number 10 jersey.
