Ghana Coach Milovan Rajevac has named his starting lineup for this afternoon’s clash against Zimbabwe.
The Black Stars gaffer has made two changes to his previous squad against same opponent in the crucial 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier last Saturday which resulted in a 3-1 victory for his side.
Among the changes made, Baba Idrissu has been handed a start. The Real Mallorca midfielder comes in for Abdul Fatawu Issahaku who drops to the bench.
Coach Milo introduced Iddrissu in the second half of the first game with Zimbabwe and he impressed heavily after Ghana turned the encounter around after conceding an equalizer minutes earlier.
With his inclusion, the Black Stars wrestled controlled back from the Zimbabweans and went on to record a comfortable win. His selection in the starting team means, the Ghana Coach is looking for more control in the middle in a game the Black Stars cannot afford to drop points in the chase for the sole ticket to the final qualifying round for next year’s world cup.
