Ghanaian midfielder Samuel Frimpong has bid farewell to Asante Kotoko SC after terminating his contract with the Porcupines Warriors.
The versatile defender was declared surplus to requirements following the acquisition of Samuel Appiah.
Frimpong took his official social media page to thank the club for the three years he spent at the club.
“Thanks to the most high God , Royal house Board , management, technical team ,my colleagues and to the club owners (Fans) very Sad to end my 3-4 yrs stay like this,but football life is like a 4*400 race you can’t hold the stick forever long live @AsanteKotoko_SC.

Frimpong joined Asante Kotoko from Division One side Bekwai Youth Academy Football Club.
He spent a season a loan at Karela United.
