Ghanaian youngster Perciuos Boah won his first trophy with Esperance de Tunis following their 1-0 win over Sfaxien to win the Tunisian Super Cup on Saturday.
The former Dreams forward was handed his first competitive start at the club and was impressive throughout his stay on the pitch.
Boah was withdrawn after the break as the Tunisian giant pushed for the opener.
Nigerian attacker Iwuala scored the only goal in the 57th minute after running on a long pass from his half before unleashing a left-foot strike which flew past the Sfaxien keeper.
The game was played inside the Stade Olympique de Rades.
It was Boah’ first competitive game for the Tunisian giants since joining them from Ghana Premier League side Dreams.
Esperance have now won a record-extending sixth Tunisian Super Cup title.
The last time Esperance won the Super Cup was in 2020 when they also beat Sfaxien 5-4 on Penalties.
