Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus scored on injury return for Ajax in their 5-0 win over Fortuna Sittard in the Dutch Eredivisie.
The midfielder has been out with an ankle injury for months and has missed so many matches.
Kudus on return featured for Ajax’s reserve side on Friday and was on target as they defeated Almere City 4-2.
The midfielder continued his fine form for the senior team on Tuesday scoring after his cameo in the second half.
Kudus started the game from the bench as goals from Steven Berghuis, Noussair Mazraoui and Dusan Tadic gave Ajax a 3-0 lead at the break.
Minutes later, Nicolas Tagliafico wrapped the game up for Ajax with the 5th.
His return his a big boost for Ghana who will be counting on him for their 2020 World Cup qualifiers double header against Zimbabwe in October.
