Libyan side Al Ahly Benghazi have finalized the signing of Ghanaian midfielder George Amoako in the ongoing transfer window.

The 22-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the club following a successful negotiations.

He joins the club for undisclosed fee from relegated Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals.

The defensive midfielder had a decent campaign in the Ghana Premier League last season having made 21 appearances.

He was recently linked with a move to Medeama SC but has chosen to continue his career in the Northern Africa.
