Renowned Sports journalist Jerome Otchere has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Kenpong Football Academy.
Jerome has been appointed to run the day to day activities of the club following a fruitful negotiations with the owner of the club.
Kenpong Football Academy is founded by Ghanaian business guru, Kennedy Agyepong to nurture young lovers of the most beautiful game to stardom.
He will work with ex-Ghana coach, Kwesi Appiah, who is the head coach of the Academy and Francis Oti Akenteng, who is the director of football for the Academy.
Jerome has since the early 2000s been a football reporter, writing extensively for Kotoko Express – the official mouthpiece of Asante Kotoko.
He was until 2020 the Editor of the club newspaper and has covered major football events including CAF inter-club competitions, the African Cup of Nations and the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
He was also a former editor of FootballMadeIn Ghana.com and communication member of Dreams FC.
As an experienced communicator, he’s a trusted brain on Ghana football issues.
He holds a Masters in Journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism besides being a member of the Institute of Public Relations and the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG).
