Hearts of Oak’s new kits have been rated as the best in AFRICA by a top Algerian journalist.
The Ghanaian Social Media space has been buzzing following the glamorous unveiling of Accra Hearts of Oak’s new kits for the upcoming season.
The reigning Ghana Premier League champions revealed to the public at a beautiful ceremony at the World Trade Center in Accra, their home and away Umbro kits and social media hasn’t been sleeping since.
During the ceremony, players of the Accra-based club mounted the stage modeling the new kits.
The home kit still has the rainbow colors, but this time around there are several blue arrows which dominate the shirt.
The away kit, is a slight departure from last season’s design. It is the same white jersey but this time with colored arrows fading, as it approaches the V-neck area.
There have been wild reactions to this by Hearts of Oak fans who just cannot keep quiet at the development. While trolls have been aimed at Asante Kotoko, Hearts’ bitterest rivals, others have also not shied away from labeling the kits as the best thing to happen since Ghana Jollof.
One of the prominent reactions on social media is from Walid Ziani, a top Algerian journalist.
Ziani who has worked with the BBC, ESPN and Aljazeera has rated Hearts of Oak’s new kits as the best in Africa.
