Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have announced the signing of highly rated attacker Akesse Akesse ahead of the coming season.
The attacker has signed a four-year deal with the club following a successful negotiations with his club Nzema Kotoko.
The 21-year old is joining the Tarkwa based side following an impressive outing in the Division One where he scored 12 goals in 25 games.
A statement on the club’s website read,
“We are delighted to announce that we have completed the signing of striker Akesse Akesse on a four-year deal from Nzema Kotoko.
Akesse, 21, joins the Mauve and Yellows with a high profile from the country’s second-tier league.
The youngster bagged an impressive 12 goals in 25 matches to proper Nzema Kotoko to a respectable fourth position in the Ghana Division One League Zone 2.
He also provided nine assists and was voted Man of the Match on six occasions to underline his quality.
Akesse has been on the radar of the club for sometime now with coach Ignatius Fosu finally grabbing his man.
On switching to Tarkwa Akesse said: ‘I am super thrilled to start this new challenge with Medeama. I have been looking forward to it and happy it has finally happened.
‘I am one of you and I can’t wait to start working with the rest of the group. I am looking forward to meeting my teammates and ensuring that we excel for our supporters.
