Black Stars captain, Andre Dede Ayew scored his first competitive goal for Al Sadd as they came behind to defeat Qatar SC in the Qatar Super League on Thursday afternoon.
Ayew started his team’s come back after going down in the first half.
Sebastian Soria netted the opener for Qatar SC in the 38th-minute before Andre Ayew netted the equalizer with a beautiful curler in the penalty box.
Brazilian defender Guilherme shot Al-Sadd into the lead in the 78th-minute before Algerian attacker Baghdad Bounedjah then put the icing on the cake with his side’s third in the 83rd-minute to end the game.
The goal was Ayew’s first for the club after matchday two.
The win put Al-Sadd on top of the league with 6 points from two games and will face Al Rayyan on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
