Charles Kwabla Akonnor has penned a goodbye message to the Senior National team following his exit as the head coach of the Black Stars.
Akonnor was sacked on Monday September, 13 following a meeting by the Ghana Football Association(GFA)’s Executive Council.
The ex-Asante Kotoko trainer who had four months left in his contract managed 11 matches, won 5, drew 2 and lost 4.
The former Hearts of Oak coach took to Twitter to bid his farewell to team, thePresident of Ghana H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo, the Youth and Sports ministry, the GFA, colleagues, as well as his predecessor James Kwesi Appiah.

Meanwhile, a three-member committee has been put together to search for a new head coach in the next 72 hours.
The members of the committee are Vice President Mark Addo, Upper East Regional Football Association Chairman, Alhaji Salifu Zida and Dr Randy Abbey.
