Ghana and Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has expressed delight at his return to football in Arsenal’s 1-0 victory against Norwich at the Emirates Stadium last Saturday.

The 28-year-old missed Arsenal’s first three games of the season due to an injury he picked up during the preseason friendly against Chelsea which ruled him out for several weeks.

Partey’s return was a big boost for the Gunners who needed to win after suffering three straight losses prior to the international break.

Partey took to Instagram to express his delight at returning to the field posting a picture and captioning it, “Thank you #Gunners for all the support. It feels good to be back with the team ➕3️⃣”
