Asante Kotoko SC have announced the signing of former Inter Allies midfielder Richmond Lamptey ahead of the 2021/22 season.

The midfielders has penned a three-year deal with the club following a successful negotiations.

He joins the club on free transfer after parting ways with relegated Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies.

Lamptey was one of the outstanding players in the Inter Allies squad last season scoring three goals and providing two assists in 27 matches for the club.

The former WAFA midfielder also won four man of the match awards.

The nimble footed player is expected to add his rich experience to the Porcupine Warriors as they aim to wrestle Hearts of Oak for the Ghana Premier League title and the FA Cup Cup.

He becomes the first player to join the Porcupines in the ongoing transfer window.
