Elmina Sharks FC striker Benjamin Bernard Boateng has finalized a move to Egyptian Premier League club Al Ittihad Alexandria SC.

Boateng signed a three-year contract with the club following a successful medical examination.

He joins the club from Elmina Sharks following a successful negotiations with the Egyptian club.

Boateng netted 8 goals in 25 matches in the 2020/2021 campaign and also won four man of the match awards.

He becomes the second player from the Ghanaian top-flight to sign for Ittihad after Bechem United skipper Moro Salifu who completed his switch a fortnight ago.
