Wisla Krakow winger Yaw Yeboah is set to start for the Black Stars against South Africa on Monday following his impressive cameo in the game against Ethiopia.
Yeboah replaced Kamaldeen Sulemana in the match against Ethiopia on Friday and played well as Black Stars secured a 1-0 win.
Seven players have been ruled out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying match in Johannesburg including Kamaldeen Suleman, it won’t be surprising to see Yeboah who is in fine form in the starting line-up.
The former Ghana U23 skipper has been in an impressive form in the Polish League putting up man of the display every week.
He has scored five goals for the club in the current campaign including a solo goal which trended heavily on social media with FIFA and top football websites giving him a recognition.
The Black Stars are top of Group G in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers having started with a win against Ethiopia on Friday and will hope to keep their 100% record intact when they visit Johannesburg and play the Bafana Bafana.
