Ghana head coach, CK Akonnor has become an instant hit on Twitter following his inability to lead the Black Stars to victory against South Africa today.
The Stars lost their second game of the qualifiers after they defeated Ethiopia in the opening game last Friday.
Although the head coach has identified that the absence of some key players led to the defeat, it hasn’t stopped Ghanaians from initiating a campaign for the sacking of the former Asante Kotoko head coach.
The trending phrase is SACK CK and has seen several Ghanaians participating in it.
Below are some of them:
this is a very fine result to sack CK
Poor pressers
Loose talks
No tactics
Can’t score above one goal— bɔbilɔ (@_kelvinhunter_) September 6, 2021

I think CK Akonnor is not fit to manage the black stars. You do not see any pattern of play from the team.
No inspiration from the captain Dede Ayew.
Samuel Owusu continues to sit on the bench.
Sack CK before it’s too late. We have to play in the world cup.#FixTheCountry pic.twitter.com/BaUmIEjyFR— Mr. Celebrity (@Mr_Celebrity_O) September 6, 2021
