German-born Daniel-Kofi Kyere made his debut appearance for Ghana during their World Cup qualifier with Ethiopia on Friday at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Kyere was brought on in the 29th minute following an injury to Crystal Palace winger Jeffery Schlupp.
The FC St. Pauli star was handed his maiden call-up to the Black Stars with a late invitation after Kelvin Yeboah declined to represent Ghana.
The 25-year-old has been in outstanding form for St. Pauli since the beginning of the 2021/2022 season in the German second-tier.
Kyereh has netted one goal and provided 3 assists in 5 appearances in the German Bundesliga 2 this season.
