Ghana defender Baba Rahman has donated to Real Tamale United as the club prepare for the Ghana Premier League season.
The Reading left back had promised to support the Pride of the North should they make it to the Premier League and on Thursday the player fulfill his promise by presenting items to the club at their training ground.
Baba donated 50 balls, 50 cones, 50 bibs and 48 markers cost over 12,000 plus undisclosed cash to the club based in his hometown Tamale.
The presentation was done on Baba’s behalf by his elder brother Alhaji Salifu Rahama and Northern Regional FA Chairman Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo.
Presenting the items on behalf of Baba Rahman, Northern Regional Football Association Chairman, Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo tasked the technical team to make good use of the kind gesture demonstrated by Baba.
Baba is currently in Black Stars camp preparing for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers he was absent from the short presentation ceremony on Thursday.
This is not the first time the Chelsea loaner is making such donation in the Northern Region.
In July this year, he supported Juvenile clubs in the Sagnarigu Municipality and Tamale Metropolis with football equipment including 156 footballs.
