AshantiGold SC forward Emmanuel Owusu has joined Moldovan club FC Sfintul Gheorghe Suruceni in the ongoing transfer window.
The attacker has signed for the Moldovan elite division side a year loan deal with an option to make it permanently base on the player’s performance.
Owusu’s Ashantigold career has been hampered by several injuries forcing him to missed a lot of games for the Miners.
The 20 year old made only 15 appearances in the last two seasons in the Ghana Premier League where he scored once.
Owusu played an integral role when Ashantigold won the NC special competition two years ago.
He was part of the Ghana U20 team during their preparations for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Mauritania until an injury ruled him out before the tournament started.
