French Ligue 1 club Girondins de Bordeaux signed the Ghanaian defender on a season-long loan deal.
The 23 year old joins Bordeaux from Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg.
The club also has the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the loan period.
Kamaldeen Sulemana – FC Nordsjaelland to Rennes (France)
Ghana whiz kid Kamaldeen eventually joined Rennes after a protracted transfer saga.
The 19 year old had been the subject of a tug-of-war between a number of clubs in Europe including Manchester United and Ajax FC.
The Dutch champions appeared to be in driving seat to sign the attacker until Rennes tabled an irresistible offer for the highly rated youngster.
The Ligue 1 side acquired the former Right to Dream Academy product for €15 million, plus €5m in add-ons.
He put pen to paper on a five year deal that will keep him at the club until 2026.
Andre Ayew – Free Agent to Al Sadd (Qatar)
Ghana captain Andre Ayew completed a shock move to Qatari giants Al Sadd.
The 31-year-old put pen on a lucrative three-year contract having become a free agent following his departure from English Championship fold Swansea City in June.
According to media reports, the attacker will be paid around $220,000 [€186,514.39] a month by the Asian club, who are coached by Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez.
This means that Ayew will pocket about $10 million every year with added bonuses that come with performance and appearances.
It is also worthy of note that his salary will not be subject to taxes in the Arab country, making him one of the highest earning African footballers.
Afriyie Acquah – Yeni Malatyaspor to Al Batin (Saudi Arabia)
The 29 year old midfielder sealed a two-year move to Saudi Arabia top division club Al Batin FC
He joined Hafar Al-Batin based club from Turkish Superlig side Yeni Malatyaspor.
Acquah became a free agent after his contract with Malatyaspor expired on 30 June 2021.
John Boye – Metz to Al-Fayha (Saudi Arabia)
The central defender completed a deadline day move from Ligue 1 side Metz to Saudi Arabian club Al Fayha.
The 34 year old who is in the twilight of his career penned a one-year contract with Al Fayha, with an option for another year.
Boye played 94 times for Metz between 2018 and 2021 and scored four goals, helping the club to gain promotion to the French topflight.
Christian Atsu – Newcastle to Al Raed (Saudi Arabia)
The 29-year-old joined the Pro League side on a two-year deal, having cut ties with English fold Newcastle United following the expiration of his contract.
It is his first club outside Europe since beginning his professional career with Portuguese outfit Porto.
Baba Rahman – Chelsea to Reading (England)
Abdul Baba Rahman extended his Chelsea contract until 2024 before joining Reading FC on loan.
The Ghanaian international moves to the Championship outfit for the remainder of the 2021/22 campaign.
The 27 year old left-back will hope to rediscover his best form as he embarks on a new challenge in Berkshire as a Royal.
Dauda Mohammed- Anderlecht to FC Cartagena
Spanish La Liga 2 side FC Cartagena have completed the loan signing of Ghanaian attacker Dauda Mohammed on the transfer deadline day.
He joins from Anderlecht and will feature for the Spanish club untill the end of the 2021/2022 season.
Richmond Boakye-Yiadom – Free Agent to Beitar Jerusalem (Israel)
Ghana forward Richmond Boakye Yiadom has signed a one-year deal with Israeli club, Beitar Jerusalem.
This follows his exit from Polish side Gornik Zabrze after the expiration of his contract.
Edwin Gyasi – Beitar Jerusalem (Israel)
Ghana winger signed for Israeli Premier League side Beitar Jerusalem on a free transfer.
He joined on a one year deal from Major League Soccer side Dallas FC after completing a loan spell as Samsunspor in the Turkish second-tied last season.
Majeed Ashimeru – Red Bull Salzburg to Anderlecht (Belgium)
The talented playmaker joined Anderlecht on a four-year deal from Red Bull Salzburg after a successful loan stint.
The ex-WAFA player first joined the Jupiler Pro League side in January on loan and after excelling in the second half the season, the Purple and White made the deal a permanent one.
Jonah Osabutey – Werder Bremen to KV Kortrijk (Belgium)
Belgian Jupiler League side KV Kortrijk snapped up Ghanaian youngster Jonah Osabutey from Werder Bremen.
Osabutey completed his return to Belgium on the transfer deadline day after signing a two-year contract.
The youngster spent last season at OH Leuven on a season-long loan from German club Werder Bremen.
Kelvin-Prince Boateng – AC Monza to Hertha Berlin (Germany)
The former AC Milan and Barcelona made a fairytale return to his boyhood club Hertha Berlin.
The 34 year old joined the German outfit as a free agent after his contract with Serie B side AC Monza expired at the end of the season.
