The midfielder has signed a two-year deal with the club following a successful negotiations.
He joins the club from Kumasi based King Faisal following a two year spell with the Insha Allah boys.
Boateng was the most consistent player in the King Faisal side featuring in 31 games for the club in the 2020/2021 season.
He scored three and registered three assist adding to his three man of the Match awards.
Boateng was part of the Black Meteors team that played Japan and South Korea in the international friendlies earlier this year.
He is expected to replace Gladson Awako in the Olympics midfield.
