Zuberu Sharani has written his name in Slovak Super Liga history books following his goal for DAC 1904 against Pohrine FC on Monday.
The former Dreams FC forward climbed off the bench to score a landmark goal in a comfortable 3-0 away victory.
Andras Schafer broke the deadlock early in the game before Milun Dumen doubled the visitors lead on the stroke of half time.
Sharani, who was introduced after the recess went on to grab his side’s third goal late in the game to ensure all three points.
The 81st minute also had the added significance of a contrived statistical milestone. It was DAC’s 1000th goal in the top-flight division.
The 21 year old striker has netted three times after six games played in the ongoing campaign.
