Spanish La Liga 2 side FC Cartagena have completed the loan signing of Ghanaian attacker Dauda Mohammed on the transfer deadline day.
Dauda will feature for the Spanish club untill the end of the 2021/2022 season.
A statement on the club’s website read,
“FC Cartagena SAD informs of the agreement reached today with RSC Anderlecht for the loan of footballer Mohammed Dauda (Ghana, 02/20/21) until the end of the 2021/22 season.
Dauda is a footballer who stands out for his speed, verticality and accuracy in front of goal. He is a winger who plays on the left wing (despite being right-handed) and who can also do the job at the top.
Dauda came to RSC Anderlecht four seasons ago from his country and made his debut in the Belgian team’s first team. The following season he went on loan to Vitesse de la Eredivise, where he played 16 games and scored 3 goals.
After his experience in the Netherlands, Dauda went on loan again, this time to the Danish First Division. In Esbjerg fB he played a total of 22 games scoring 4 goals and, already last year, he returned to his home team. Last year at RSC Anderlecht he played 17 games scoring one goal.
Now, Mohammed Debt comes to FC Cartagena to live his first experience in Spanish football. The new Efesé player will arrive in Cartagena in the next few days to put himself under Luis Carrión and start training with his new teammates.
Dauda Mohammed has previously featured for Asante Kotoko in Ghana.
