German-based Ghanaian footballer Braydon Manu has been handed his maiden senior national football team call-up by Coach Charles Akonnor ahead of upcoming Fifa World Cup qualifiers, FMIG can confirm.
The 24-year-old winger has proved highly efficient in the German Bundesliga 2 for SV Darmstadt 98, scoring a goal in fairly few minutes of game time enjoyed. His prolific nature will come in handy to a Black Stars team lacking in terms of goals in recent times.
For his productivity, the German-born Ghanaian has been handed a late invite to the Black Stars squad ahead of next month’s qualifying matches against Ethiopia and South Africa.
Ghana will face Ethiopia on September 3, and South Africa on September 6 in Group G of the first phase of the qualification process.
Even before Ghanaians get to see him action, FMIG has delivered highlights of the player to give a glimpse of the new Black Star.
