GK Abdul Manaf Nurudeen (KAS Eupen)
The 22 year old maintains his spot in our TOTW after another brilliant display for KAS Eupen over the weekend.
The shot-stopper was in top form as Eupen roared to a 4-1 win against Leuven in the Belgian Pro League on Saturday.
Nurudeen made a number of decisive saves to steer his team to their second win of the ongoing campaign.
CB Mohammed Salisu (Southampton)
Salisu was in stunning form at the back for the Saints as they held Manchester United to a 1-1 draw in the English Premier League.
The 22 year old lasted the entire duration in the enthralling encounter at the Saint Mary’s Stadium on Sunday.
He put in blocks and made several timely interceptions to thwart an offensively talented United side as his side picked a valuable point.
CB Abdul Mumin (Vitoria Guimaraes)
Portugal-based Abdul Mumin lasted the entire duration for Vitoria Guimaraes in their 4-0 win over Vizela.
The Ghanaian defender put in a solid display and was a big reason for his team’s clean sheet.
LB Gideon Mensah (Bordeaux)
Gideon lasted the entire duration as Angers held Bordeaux to a 1-1 stalemate in the French Ligue 1.
CM Joseph Attamah (Kayserispor)
Attamah provided the crucial assist in Kayserispor’s 1-1 draw against Adana Demirspor on Friday in the Turkish top flight league.
The versatile Ghanaian set up his team mate Gockhan Sazdagi in the 17th minute for the game’s opener, before the home team fought back to earn a draw courtesy of David Akintola’s strike in the second half.
CM Isaac Cofie (Sivasspor)
Isaac Cofie was impressive for Sivasspor despite their 2-1 away defeat to Trabzonspor on Monday evening in the Turkish Super Lig.
The Ghanaian international who started and lasted the full 90 minutes, scored the consolation goal for the visitors in the 70th minute after Ivorian forward Max-Alain Gradel had missed a penalty in the 69th minute.
RW Yaw Yeboah (Wisła Kraków)
The winger scored an incredible solo goal for Wisła Kraków in their 3-1 win at Gornik Leczna.
Yeboah doubled Wisla’s lead with a Lionel-Messi esque finish after Michal Skvarka’s opening goal.
The former Ghana U-23 captain controlled a long ball inside the box, skipped a couple of challenges before slotting home.
He has now scored three goals in six games in the Polish league this season.
LW Emmanuel Gyasi (Spezia Calcio)
Gyasi opened his season account for Spezia Calcio in their 2-2 draw against Cagliari in the Italian Serie A on Monday evening.
The Black Stars forward broke the deadlock with a brilliant finish early in the game after he was set up by Daniell Verde.
Simone Bastoni doubled Spezia’ lead after the break before a quick-fire brace from Cagliari’s Jao Pedro ensured both teams shared the spoils.
SS Karim Sadat (Halmstads BK)
Karim was on target for Halmstads BK in their 2-1 over IFK Norrkoping in the Swedish top-flight league on Sunday.
The striker climbed of the bench in the 51st minute to score what turned out be the winning goal six minutes later.
The former Hearts of Oak hitman has two goals and one assist in 16 appearances this season.
CF Benjamin Tetteh (Yeni Malatyaspor)
Former Ghana U-20 striker was the match-winner as Yeni Malatyaspor defeated Goztepe 1-0 in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.
The lanky forward scored the only goal of the game in the 56th minute after lashing onto a superb assist from Rayane Aabid.
The goal was his first of the season after sealing a permanent switch to the club in the summer transfer window.
CF Kelvin Yeboah (SK Sturm Graz)
Black Stars new boy Kelvin Yeboah just can’t stop scoring at the moment.
After a goal and assist which propelled his team to a 3-1 win over NS Mura in the UEFA Europa League playoffs first leg on Thursday.
The red-hot striker followed that up with another goal for “The Blackies” in their pulsating 2-2 draw with Austria Wein in the Austrian Top-flight division on Sunday.
The 21 year old has now scored 3 goals in 3 games for Sturm Graz since his inclusion in the Black Stars provisional squad for next month’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa.
