Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim is close to joining Division One League side Nsoatreman FC, FootballmadeInGhana.com can report.

According to our source the player has agreed personal terms with the club and could sign a deal in the coming days.

Danlad will sign a year loan deal with the club as he look to steer the Division One side to Premier League promotion.

The second-tier side under the new ownership of Ghana’s Labour and Employment Minister, Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah are targeting Premier League qualification in the 2021/2022 season.

The goalkeeper who spent six months loan with King Faisal has already said goodbye to the Kumasi based side as he look set to sign for the Brong Ahafo based side.

The 18-year-old – who won the Golden Glove award as well as the 2021 Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations title with the Black Satellites – desperately needs playing time away from Kotoko.

He is the last in the pecking order of Kotoko’s four goalkeepers – behind Razak Abalora, Felix Annan and Kwame Baah.
