Ghanaian Coach Augustine Evans Adotey is keen on re-joining his former club Medeama SC, FMIG can report.
The much experienced gaffer was recently relieved off his role at premier league side Karela United after a roller-coaster season. Karela started the season brilliantly but paled out of the race for the league title and eventually finished outside the Top 4 at the end of the season.
After the season, the club parted company with him and have moved on.
Adotey who is the assistant coach of Ghana’s national U-20 side is eager to return to management and according to FMIG sources, he has been engaged in talks behind the scenes for the Medeama SC vacant coaching role.
Adotey joined Medeama SC in 2013 as an assistant coach. Subsequently, he was appointed as interim coach and led the club to their first Ghanaian FA Cup trophy and a 4th place finish by the end of the 2012–13 Ghanaian Premier League season.
He left the side in November 2017.
