Comoros coach Amir Abdou has hinted his team will employ a cautious approach when they face the Black Stars at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon next year.
The debutants have been paired alongside African powerhouses Ghana and Morocco together with 2017 AFCON hosts Gabon.
While many have sought to suggest Comoros will be the whipping boys in the group, Amir Abdou disclosed he is not fazed by the big names they could come up against and insists they will be vigilant in all of their group encounters.
“We are going to face very strong teams, against which we will have to be very vigilant. For us, it is a great pleasure to play in this CAN” – Amir Abdou said after the draw.
Comoros will begin their AFCON campaign against Gabon before subsequent encounters with Morocco and Ghana.
