Ghana Football giant Asante Kotoko has opened talks with coveted Division One League striker Prince Kwabena Owusu.
Owusu’s stock has risen after he powered Bibiani GoldStars to the Ghana Premier League for the first time in their history. The talented forward scored 19 goals to propel his side to qualification into Ghana’s elite league and his contribution caught the attention of top sides with Asante Kotoko included.
FMIG sources have hinted that the Porcupine Warriors have already started talking to the player who is at the Black Stars B camp.
Kotoko have also sent a request to Goldstars to discuss terms for the release of the player.
Asante Kotoko are hunting a new striker after failing to get a suitable replacement for top marksman Kwame Opoku who left during the second round of the Ghana Premier League season.
