Coach of Ashantigold, Thomas Duah has revealed the secret behind the Miners’ recent flurry of goals being scored in their games.

Ashgold have scored 15 goals in their last three games and also became the first side in Ghana to score four goals in three consecutive rounds of the FA Cup following their 4-1 victory over Berekum Chelsea in the semi-final.

The Miners who finished 9th in the 2020/2021 Premier League season also finished as the top scorers amongst the 18 teams and Coach Thomas Duah has attributed his side’s top-scoring form to his experience during his playing days as the secret behind Ashgold’s high scoring form.

“I was a striker during my playing days, so I know how to find the back of the net” – Duah told FMIG.

“As a result of that, I’ve been teaching the rest of the team how to finish chances. So it’s not a surprise for me my boys are scoring a lot of goals” – Duah further stated.
