Tunisian giant Esperance de Tunis have terminated the contract of Ghanaian forward Abdul Basit Khalid just less than eight month after joining the side.

Basit 24, joined the Tunisian giant in January 2021 after parting ways with North Macedonia side Makedonija Gjorce.

The attacker since his arrival has struggled to make an impact at the club scoring just three goals in 24 goals.

His unimpressive performance has forced the club to cancel his contract.

The player is now free agent and is expected to join a new club before the close of the summer transfer window.

Khalid Abdul Basit has previously featured for Pristinha in Kosovo and Dreams FC in Ghana.
