Accra Great Olympics have asked Hearts of Oak to make formal their enquiry about the availability of star midfielder Gladson Awako for transfer.

Awako, excelled in large numbers throughout the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League campaign for the Dade Boys and eventually earned a call-up to the Senior national football team, the Black Stars.

The former Hearts of Lions and TP Mazembe midfielder caught the eye of many top clubs in Ghana and abroad and the latest to register their interest on Hearts of Oak.

The Ghana Premier League champions are longtime admirers of Awako as they prepare for a successful league title defense as well as competing strongly in the CAF Champions League.

Awako who has enough experience at the continental level under his belt, is seen as someone who can help improve the current Hearts playing body.
