Ghana and Rennes Attacker Kamaldeen Sulemana has disclosed the Rennes project was more attractive to him hence his decision to join the French Ligue 1 club.
Kamaldeen was linked with a host of top clubs across Europe following a phenomenal season with FC Nordsjaelland where he scored 10 goals and four assists.
His performances attracted a lot of interest from several clubs around Europe including Ajax, Bayer Leverkusen and Manchester United.
The 19-year-old attacker however chose Rennes from the list of clubs who were on his trail and explained the project at the French Ligue 1 club was more attractive to him hence his decision to join the club.
“I chose Rennes because when I came for the visit, I spoke to coach [Bruno Genesio] and I spoke to [technical director] Florian [Maurice] and the project was very interesting and was good for me, and I felt here was the right place for me,” – Kamaldeen explained.
“They have a lot of young talent and they have produced a lot of good talent outside, the likes of [Ousmane] Dembele, a lot of players, [Eduardo] Camavinga, Jeremy Doku.” – He further stated.
