Ghana’s Jonathan Mensah has been included in the Major League Soccer team of the week following his output for Columbus Crew.

Mensah’s goal proved decisive as Columbus Crew steal a 1-0 win at Atlanta United in the Major League Soccer [MLS].

Zelarayan whipped in a corner kick from the left and it was flicked over to the back post by Hairston.

Mensah was there to head the ball into the net in the 65th minute.

It was his first goal for Crew since 27 July 2018 when he scored the opener in the 3-2 away win against New York Red Bull.

His performance on the day earned him a place in the team of the week
