Former Ghana midfielder Awudu Issaka has called for the arrest of Inter Allies’ goalkeeper, Danso Wiredu-Mensah for his involvement in Saturday’s 7-0 drubbing by Ashantigold in matchday 34 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Miners on the final day of Ghana Premier League inflicted a 7-0 win over the Capelli boys, a game Inter Allies defender deliberately scored two own goals.
However, following the conclusion of the game, Hashmin Musah confessed to have intentionally scored the two own goals because the game was fixed to the correct score of 5-1 in favour of Ashantigold, hence his decision to spoil the plans.
Inter Allies’ goalie Danso Wiredu-Mensah was also at fault for Ashgold’s 3rd goal as he’s seen making a school-boy error to gift Ashgold the opportunity to score.
Reacting to events and proceedings that transpired at the Len Clay Stadium, Awudu Issaka believes Inter Allies’ goalkeeper Danso Wiredu-Mensah must be arrested for his poor showing on the day.
“The goalkeeper who conceded 7 goals must be arrested for one year. I watched the game and I think he needs to be arrested because what he did in the post was shameful” he told Angel TV.
