Ghanaians Abroad July 17, 2021
Ghana winger Christian Atsu has completed a move to Saudi Arabian club Al Raed.
The winger has signed a two-year deal with the club after successful medical.
He joins the Asian club after parting ways with Newcastle United.
Atsu had a difficult time at Newcastle and failed to make a single appearance in the Premier League last season.
He first joined FC Porto in 2011, before signing for English giant Chelsea in 2013.
When he arrived at Chelsea, Atsu was immediately loaned to Vitesse and subsequently featured for Everton, Bournemouth, Everton and Malaga, all on loan, before his permanent transfer to Newcastle United in 2017.
