Accra Hearts of Oak Head Coach Samuel Boadu has revealed a select list of top Ghanaian coaches he model led his career around.
The 35 year old is the talk of town after guiding Hearts of Oak to their first League title in over 10 years.
He only joined the Phobians just before the end of the first round of the 2020-21 season and he has applied the midas touch on the side.
Boadu has set the gold standard with a record of 17 wins, 4 draws and only 3 defeats in games he’s served as the helmsman.
Speaking to TV3 in an interview, the every positive personality says he always has an open mind ever willing to learn.
He has gone on to name some former top Ghanaian coaches whom he learnt a lot from while honing his coaching career.
“I have an open mind. I learn at every given opportunity and I know that shwta will lift me to a higher standard. I want God to help me to reach the heights of our former legendary coaches like Jones Attuquayefio, Ben Koufie, (Coach EK) Afranie, our former Black Stars Coach Akwasi Appiah, Maxwell Konadu and Didi Dramani,” he said.
“The man who tutored me is EK Adusei. He was a disciplinarian who helped mould me to become who I am. I pray I get to their level,” he added.
