The refereeing department of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), with approval from the Referees committee have decided to undertake training for the Technical & Fitness Instructors (Training the Trainers Concept) and the Referee Assessor’s while upgrading the Women Refereeing Standard.
The GFA Referees Committee, through the Refereeing department will then organize the national Fitness test for Premier, Division One and Women Premier League referees and assistant referees after which a national course will be organized for the selected referees and assistant referees.
The Ghana Football Association will as a matter of urgency liaise with the GFA medical Committee to run medical examination for participants.
The list of participants for the various courses including the FIFA list will be prepared by the Classification and Assessor’s panel with approval from the General Secretary.
The dates for the National courses will be announced after the selection is completed.
