Spanish topflight side Real Betis Féminas have completed the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Grace Asantewaa in the ongoing transfer window.
The midfielder signs a two-year deal with the club after agreement with her club EDF Logrono.
A statement on her arrival on their official club website read,
Real Betis Féminas and the player Grace Asantewaa have reached an agreement for the incorporation of the midfielder, who thus becomes the first signing of the Verdiblanco team for the 2021/22 financial year.
The footballer born in Ghana (12/05/2000) arrives from EDF Logroño and signs for two seasons.
Grace Asantewaa has two years of experience in Primera Iberdrola in the Rioja team, where she has added 45 games. In the last season the player has played 1,645 minutes, in which she scored four goals. Before being a member of the Rioja team, she did so with the Hassacas Ladies and the Ampem Darkoa Ladies of his country.
The new addition of Real Betis Féminas is international with Ghana and, in fact, was present at the last African Cup of Nations for Women organized in 2018. They also played with the Ghanaian team in the U-17 World Cup in Jordan in 2016 and the U-17 World Cup. 20 from France in 2018.
