King Faisal’s goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has picked the goalkeeper of the year award at the Ghana Football Awards held on Saturday at Accra.

The on-loan goalkeeper beat competition from Black Stars and Asante Kotoko No.1 Razak Abalora and Richard Ofori who plays for Orlando Pirates in South Africa.

Ibrahim’s heroics in helping Ghana win the CAF U20 Cup of Nations in Mauritania played an instrumental role.

He was voted the best goalkeeper in the CAF U20 Cup of Nations in Mauritania.

Danlad Ibrahim has kept four clean sheets and won two MVPs since joining King Faisal in the second round.
