King Faisal’s fight for survival has been dealt a huge blow after players boycotted training today due to unpaid salaries and bonuses.
According to reports, the playing body threatened the management of the club yesterday, they were going to boycott today’s training session if the amounts due them are not settled. Management is still yet to settle the amounts and the players have kept to their word boycotting training today.
FMIG understands players are being owed two months of salaries as well as other bonuses. As of now, it remains unknown how long the players intend to boycott training sessions.
King Faisal currently lies 15th on the Ghana Premier League table just a point above the relegation zone and would be traveling to Obuasi on Saturday where they play as guests of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
