Ghanaian charity organization, Kick & Learn Foundation has benefitted from the benevolence of former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey who has donated several soccer equipment to the outfit.

The former England striker donated football jerseys, boots and footballs to the foundation that has been supporting the poor and needy in Ghana.

Following the donation to the foundation, Heskey led a ceremonial handover of some of the items to Golden Boys FC who became the first beneficiaries of the kindness of the Liverpool man.

Heskey, who was in Ghana for a few weeks also shared his experience with some of the players and advised them to remain discipline and focused in their career.

Director of the foundation, Frank Oppong, whose connections brought Heskey Ghana for the second time was extremely touched by the benevolence of the former England star.

“This kind of benevolence is touching. Heskey is a good friend and has always have the urge to help the less privileged. We are grateful and may God reward him,” Frank Oppong said after the donation.

The 2001 UEFA Super Cup winner also promised to return to Ghana to support grassroot football development as well as supporting the Kick & Learn Foundation in Liberia.
